Taare Zameen Par 2007 is a Bollywood drama movie starring Darsheel Safary and Aamir Khan Zameen Par is released firstly in India by UTV Home Entertainment and later Disney distributed the movie internationally known as Like Stars on Earth. Taare Zameen Par achieved Film fare Awards, National Film Awards and also was selected for nomination in the Academy Award.

The other stars cast in the film are Tanay Chheda, Tisca Chopra, Sachet Engineer, Vipin Sharma, Girija Oak, M K Raina, Lalita Lajmi and some autistic children. Ishaan finds study too difficult and likes to live in his own dreamy world full of imaginations. He has a gifted talent of art but his parents are not happy with that. His elder brother Yohan is a best quality student thus Ishaan’s situation is worse. His parents send him on a boarding school and he sinks in depression. Ishaan gets a hope when Ram Nikumbh joins their school as an art teacher. He realities that Ishaan is dislexic like he was and is facing the same problems. Nikumbh visit Ishaan’s house and knows about his arts and make his parents realise that the child is not like others but a special one and needs much care. Ishaan’s parents realise their mistakes as Ishaan does not draw any more, but Nikumbh works on him to get over his depression. Nikubh helps Ishaan study and arranges a drawing competition where Ishaan defeats everyone including Nikumbh. Ishaan is now a confident and happier child than ever before. On the long term leave Ishaan’s family comes over to take him but he rather runs to Nikumbh as they now share a very special relationship.
